So like…a slam poet?Not a slam poet. I admire the craft but don’t have the talent for that level. I’m the poet on a page. Writer poet.
When are you going to publish a book?No idea. I’m working on it.
How’s the writing going?Some days are really good. I feel disciplined, productive, on schedule with my writing. I am just churning out pages. And then other days I’m a gremlin with the zoomies while Ke$ha from 2010s blares gently in the background, doing everything except writing and those days are hard. But I’m rolling with it.
How much coffee are you consuming?Yes.
What poetry books are you reading right now?Cathy Linh Che’s “Becoming Ghost.” And some Marie Howe. And the 86 text messages I will somehow get to addressing.
